Tina Leman

Dr. Tina Leman earned her Bachelor of Science in Deaf Education and her Master of Science in Audiology from Illinois State University. She later completed her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. Dr. Leman is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice audiology in Illinois.

She began her career as a hearing itinerant educator and Program Coordinator for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at Kirby School District 140 in Tinley Park, Illinois. After becoming an audiologist, she joined the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, where she served as a Clinical/Cochlear Implant Audiologist and later as the Cochlear Implant Program Coordinator. In these roles, she provided comprehensive audiologic care to a diverse patient population, including both pediatric and adult patients.

Dr. Leman also served on the advisory board of her alma mater during the development of its Doctor of Audiology program, reflecting her longstanding commitment to advancing the profession. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to lifelong learning and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She is passionate about helping patients and their families improve communication, reconnect with loved ones, and enhance their quality of life through better hearing.
