Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Mona Dworsack earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University, her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University, and Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from University of Florida. Dr. Dworsack is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association. She is licensed to practice Audiology in the States of California and Illinois. Dr. Dworsack has had varied experiences in hearing care provision and industry. She has led projects for device design, development, and education for hearing aids; as well as, hearing and balance-screening and diagnostic equipment (for in-person and tele-audiology). She has broad base of experiences in pediatric diagnostics, early identification, and treatment; as well as adult diagnostics and amplification selection, fitting and verification. Mona previously served on the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality- Medical Home Collaborative and the American Academy of Audiology-Guidelines for Infant Pediatric Assessment Taskforce.

Prior to joining Peoria ENT, she served as an Audiologist for the Illinois Department of Corrections, as Director of Product Management at WS Audiology, in various audiology leadership roles for Natus Medical (Otometrics/Audiology Systems). Clinically, she has been Coordinator of Electrophysiology/Senior Audiologist and Director of the Newborn Hearing Screening Program at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center, Pediatric Audiologist in the House Ear Institute CARE Center and Screening Coordinator in its Southern California Hearing Coordination Center. She was clinical audiologist at Houston ENT and completed her clinical fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
